Untamed Swordsman Poster

Heres my character from the UTS pt2 animation I created. This render of him was done for the purpose of my DVD cover and I'll just show the evolution of it from start to finish.

The beginning sketch was done w/ a 2B pencil. I was struggling to find the right face to put on him and what I finally ended up with was what I could come as close to merging animation with illustration styles as I could. The inked version was done on my lightbox with a Pitt pen, then scanned in to my computer and cleaned up, then colored in Photoshop.

Flash Teenage Walk Cycle Animation

A few pages back I posted a character I created in a design class. Well I took the drawing and chopped it up into layers in Flash and animated a walk cycle with her.

Here's a flight cycle I did in Flash. The wave of the wings were hand drawn in about 30 frames, and the rest were shape tweens.

Heres a set of Backgrounds I drew for a Preproduction project. The style was none other than Frank Miller.
